Armed bandits on Wednesday attacked the General Hospital Idon in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted two nurses.

A source from the community confirmed the abduction, saying the incident happened at night.

By Ibrahim HassanWuyo

Hours after abducting students of Greenfield University in Kaduna state, gunmen on Thursday kidnapped two nurses who worked overnight at the General hospital in Idon of Kajuru Local Government,

While confirming the incident, Chairman of Kajuru local government area, Hon. Cafra Casino, called on the people to remain calm as investigation has commenced into the kidnap of the two nurses.

Though the authorities are yet to respond to the incident, Dr. Shingyu Shamnom, Medical Director of the hospital, told journalists that the gunmen wielding dangerous weapons gained access to the hospital through the fence.

According to Dr.Shamnom, the gunmen forcefully gained entry into the hospital, shot sporadically and whisked away the two nurses on night duty who came out and identified themselves as medical workers.

He explained that after hearing the gunshots, they had to stay at their various houses. โ€œWe were in our homes until a call was put through to us that it was kidnappers who invaded the hospital, only to discover that two of the nurses on night duty have been taken away by the bandits.

โ€œThe kidnappers went away with the phone of one of the staff whom we thought was also kidnapped but he later returned,โ€ he said.

I hope the useless Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed can now see one of the many reasons why the UK government is granting Asylum to IPOB members....

After Kidnapping, raping, causing emotional trauma, and collecting huge ransom from their victims, these bandits will quickly call one moroniic sheikh Gummi that they want to repent, and as usual, the Northern governors will host them in the banquet hall at the state house.

We never had it this bad under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Since Pantanmi has been the communication minister, terrorists have been on the rise and their intelligence gatherings have increased.

Insecurity was not this high before Pantanmi became the minister

Kaduna is working hard to become the headquarters of banditry since Maidugri has snagged the head office of terrorism. Just keep it up! You are almost there.
