Do you have anyone in the UK who can buy things for you and ship it to Lagos ? I ask because there is a pool table at Argos ( a retail store) that is half price at the moment i.e £149 from £299. My friend bought it at full price and is happy with it because it is solid and well built.

I came across the same table from argos myself and It looks fab esp half price and I like the fact that you can table tennis on this table so more fun.This was a contender.

* ryt my next 2 contender is a table from uksportimports.com, they are also about half price but the tables seem more sturdy and im guessing (reason which I'll come to) its better quality, but alas no table tennis top and your not dealing with argos

they are almost the same price as the one from argos and you get free delivery. now the reason why I believe they are better quality is becase I found out a video on you tube from an amazing trick shot pool player and in the video I found out that he has the table from uksportimports. and since he is a very good player IMO the table must be pretty good, plus you can see how the table plays

yea i'm looking to buy locally but getting an idea of the price is quite difficult as you can tell from this thread, perhaps i'll get the price straight from a carpenter though chances of getting a skilled carpenter is slimmmmmmmm. Those in the shops are massively overpriced

If you are really interested in playing pool and you are thinking of getting a pool table there are some requirements you need to be aware. The first thing is there must be enough space in the room for playing because that's make players to take the free and actual shot. Regular size of the pool table is 4.5 by 9 foot. The room size require for this is the length of the pool table + 2 times of the cue and width of the pool table + 2 times the length of the cue.
