Nigerians running abroad to buy clubs while the NPFL is in total shambles.

I can't imagine the fan base of Man U and Arsenal should our money bags buy them over.

Which Nigerian has bought a club abroad that you know? As a business man, would you buy something that’s in shambles?? There’s no sentiments in business. undecided

Mr tony it cheaper for you to buy an established nigerian club and invenst and make it a continental force.

Until the NPFL is overhauled and made to look attractive by the Nigerian FA and the LMC ( league marketing company) market it as a profit making outfit, it won't work. One will only profit as a club owner if the entire league is doing well and has a huge fan base.

This people think running a club is hearsay.
The question mark he left at the end of his sentence should tell you that he dares not, even Dangote don't have the weight.
The highest paid worker under Dangote or Elemelu should be receiving less than 100 thousand pounds monthly.
How much is Pogba's salary in a week?

Those investors will still have to be in his clique.
Does he roll with the world top billionaires?

Now, apart $rom money.

There is the entrepreneurship skill. Does he have football experience talk more of football politicking ?

Obviously you can't hold a debate without throwing tantrums

Firstly, it's a consortium.
Secondly, who are those in Elumelu's consortium of friends

Those commenting above are kids. Lol. One even was talking about Dangote like he cannot buy Arsenal. Lol. When Dangote is ready, he will buy Arsernal and add ManU join. These people do not know who Dangote is. Even Abramovich who owns Chelsea pays homage to Dangote anyday, anytime. These small boys dont know who Dangote is oooo. I just dey laugh. Abramovich that is a kid. All Dangote needs to do is sit with big boys there. And ask them...what they want. As long as he can give them what they want, that's it. Small boys are so many in this NL. Anyway, the KEY is silence. Move codedly and conquer grounds. That's it. How much is the value of ManU they say Dangote cannot buy. He will buy ManU, Arsenal, Liverpool ...even join Chelsea.

Elumelu may not have the cash, but he's got the network and they will sit with the owners and the big boys there. As long as their own interests meet the interests of the british, they will have it. But he has said it..he doesnt want to get involved with sports politics. It's not money for him. Baba is into world banking and finance. That is the game he understands and the water he swims in.

Tony Elumelu should not try that shit, he will be exposing himself to more risks and envy by these vultures and fulani terrorists in Nigeria and their counterpart in abroad. If he wants to invest in football games, he should consider buying any of our Eastern Football Clubs and boost our local games and economy here in the East.

Somebody should tell him to concentrate his entrepreneurship scheme in Nigeria instead of Africa.

Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world.

We need to massively empower lots and lots of potential entrepreneurs.

Streamlining the Tony elumelu foundation to Nigerians alone would mean thousands of more people would be entered into the program.

Person wey never Belle full no dey feed dog.

United worth more than $4b. Does Elumelu worth it?
Better ask him to buy share instead!

Because he is still playing and earning crazy money.

Once Messi leaves football, he won't be as rich as any of Tony elumelu's top CEOs in 10 years.

Who in his right senses will want to tie his money/investments in Nigeria, precisely Nigeria league? Abi you want him to "grow" poor?
Eg, if he invested $10m in 2015 @140, he put in ₦1.4b. His shares are worth ₦1.4b today.
Assuming he wants to divest his money today 2021, just five years later, his ₦1.4b @485 to $1= $2.9b!
Nobody wants to grow pregressivly poorer.
She una see watin these Sai baba people don cause us. shocked

He can join a consortium of investors and buy it.

Manchester United is very profitable.

If I were an investor that is the club I would buy.

I would milk it to the bare bones and maximise profits.
The only Marquee player Manchester United would get would be from the championship. grin
