A leader worth celebrating not the Islamic jihadist. Derby fought like a true soldier.

RIP Gallant leader. We celebrate you even in death.

post=101060927:
When you fight Terrorism, Terrorism fights back.

We Must Continue Fighting Terrorism as Relentlessly as the Coronavirus.

Nigeria and Africa at large, should continue to pursue terrorists and fight terrorism like we are now fighting the coronavirus: relentlessly, creatively, and coherently.
There’s no miracle drug for stopping terrorism.
The best offense for the terrorist contagion is to continue the aggressive treatment that has inoculated the United States from a major terrorist attack since 9/11. Counterterrorism policy prescriptions must be complemented by capable foreign partners and sound operational work overseas — meaning gritty intelligence collection, surveillance, special operations, and especially the surgical targeting of terrorists.

Nigeria, Africa and the world at large will win this war.

RIP Great man.

still speed of light better and ahead of buhari that is nepotic and neutralizing efforts of the military to end terrorism by planting terrorists in the government. Terrorism/kidnapping can never end in Nigeria as long as buhari/northerner is the president, reason why the entity must be dissolved

The geographical location of their state capital (close to the country's border) is instrumental to the success of the rebels.

Great leader who led from the front no doubt. Hats off to such leaders.

However, the sit tight syndrome is now likely to plunge his country into chaos like aftermath of Ghadaffi's demise in Libya.

A lot of those that fought him were home grown rebels and opposition elements who complained of not getting a share of the country's oil wealth allegedly cornered by Deby and his govt.

Lesson learnt - build strong institutions and be genuinely fair to all so that you can leave legacies that outlive you. RIP to the fallen soldier!!

It is very funny to see Nigerians hailing a man who was a dictator, and who if he were running Nigeria, would have made Buhari look like a kind and gentle person...and no Buhari is not a good leader either.

The dude killed thousands of Bokoists...and thus he becomes a hero. ..meanwhile his country groans under a host of securoity challenges, is poor, and his son has now taken over leadership..human rights are zero in the country, and no one is complaining?

Nigerians should stop looking for heroes. It was our hero worship that got us Bubu in the first place.

oga hold ur opinion to ur sef abeg how many of ur Nigerian leaders don ever go war front? e dey pain u say them give em son? watin b ur sef

Terrorisim cannot end in Nigeria because our economy is run wrongly

We run our economy based on sharing money we earn from what we export. As a result, there is no incentive to be productive. That means no jobs, since the lack of incentive to be productive means no one is establishing industries to prodiuce goods for export...and no jobs means no incentive to get educated...which means a large mass of undereducated, and underemployed youths.

All girst for violent groups like Boko, killer herdsmen, and increasingly tribal millita of all stripes.

That is why Nigeria is struggling.

There are no terrorist infiltatros in government...especiallly as the Bokoists are killing mostly NOrhterners, and preying on mostly Northerners. As for herdsmen, our populaiton is too high to sustain famers and herdsmen...plus years of not developing our railway sector means that cows cannot be transproted except by road and by wandering...when we could trransport them all by rail, and not by wansdering about.

And the annoying thing is that neither APC, or PDP, North or SOuth, is ready to make the hard choices needed to change our economy. Instead, we look for a hero to come and save us....forgetting that the heroes are just as bad
