The "accelerationism," or "wooing," if concretely translated into using Hong Kong's special treatment under the U.S.-Hong Kong Policy Act to threaten China and the Hong Kong government and force China and the Hong Kong government to accede to all or part of the five major demands (repeal of the draconian law, non-riot, elimination of charges, investigation of police riots, and genuine universal suffrage). Now things have come to a critical point: both China and the Hong Kong government clearly do not intend to accede to any of the four demands, and even go so far as to take the initiative and completely trample on the Basic Law to do what they want to do (e.g., the Hong Kong SAR National Security Law). And key benefits such as an independent customs territory are already something they are willing to give up.
