Google Argentina’s Domain Bought By Man For £2 by Smatkomo: 1:01pm On Apr 27, 2021
Google Argentina’s domain name which was up for auction for two hours was bought by a random young man Nicolas Kurona.

The 30-year-old web designer said he was able to buy Google.com.ar using a normal, legal process.
Nicolas was working on a web design project for a client when he got Whatsapp messages reporting that Google was down.

This prompted him to visit www.google.com.ar but noticed the site did not work. He then proceeded to the Network Information Center Argentina (NIC) which is the organization responsible for operating the .ar country code domains. Upon searching for Google, he discovered that Argentina’s Google domain available for purchase.
Nicolas said he never imagined that he would be allowed to buy it.
