Former Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Terseer Waya who is professionally known as Kiddwaya has taken to his social media page to cry out about the current insecurity in the country.

In a post on his official Twitter account this morning, Kiddwaya revealed he woke up in tears this morning, and he could not sleep all night because of the sound of gunshots and cries he was hearing in his dreams.

Kiddwaya also said that our country is burning and no one seems to be hearing us.

The current security situation of Nigeria is nothing to write home about. Tensions have continued to rise in different parts of the country.

Boko Haram and bandits continue to pose a threat in the northern part of Nigeria while we continue to read about attacks on private and public properties in the southern part of the country.

It is good to hear celebrities speak out about the current situation of Nigeria as this may draw the world's attention to the insecurity in our country.

They can do more by appealing to their millions of followers to make Nigeria safer by shunning crime.

He should donate some of his police detail to fighting insecurity. These people have security detail as much as 5 policemen and soldiers and we wonder how many are left to fight insecurity. Just imagine it. In my estate alone, I can count more than 30 people with more than one police officer in their security detail. Funny enough, they're mostly Lebanese, Chinese and Indian. It's quite shameful.
