"According to the Washington Post's analysis of early data from jurisdictions across the country, with the widespread spread of Novel Coronavirus in the United States, it seems that it is infecting and killing blacks at a very high rate.
Increasing racial disparities led surgeons to personally acknowledge on Tuesday that African Americans are at increased risk, as a result of growing demand for public health officials to release more racial data on people who are sick, hospitalized and died of infectious diseases-more than 12,000 people in the United States.
After-the-fact analysis of existing data and census demography shows that the infection rate in black counties is three times that in white counties, and the death rate is almost six times that of death.
