Tactical team attached to a police division has arrested three notorious robbers that have been wreaking havoc on travellers in Oyo. See more!
People taking this particular route will feel a lot safer now with the latest report confirming the arrest of the three notorious robbers that have been terrorizing travellers and motorists along Oolo expressway, Ikoyi-Ile in Oyo State.


The three suspected robbers terrorizing motorists and passengers in Oyo

Adewale Osifeso, who happens to be the spokesperson of the police command in the state, while confirming the story in a statement on Monday in Ibadan, revealed that the suspects identified as Abubakar Isah, Mohammed Bawa and Mohammed Ishaku were apprehended by the tactical team from the Ikoyi-Ile police Division at the time when they were dispossessing the motorists and passengers of their valuables.

The arrest was carried out successfully around 9 am on Saturday, 24th of April, 2021 due to the intelligence report and swift response of the tactical team attached to that division.


The suspects were paraded with the items recovered from them 

According to further reports, items such as 11 mobile phones, ₦10,140, 3 cutlasses, 10 computer wristwatches, 1 torchlight, ne Bintu Sudan perfume, 11 eyeglasses, 2 fire-lighters and 12 phone batteries were recovered from these suspects. Osifeso disclosed that one of the victims of the robbery identified as Tunde Kazeem is currently on admission at the Bowen Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso, where he is getting medical care.

However, residents of the state have been urged by the state commissioner of police to refrain from politicizing the whole incident and sharing inciting stories considering the political and ethnic tension already in the country. The Commissioner also urged members of the public to assist the police in eliminating crime from society by providing timely and credible information.

This guys looks like Fulanis, but why Nigeria security forces too dey treat the Fulani criminals like first class citizens? Why our security guys dey always make sure say Fulani criminals sit comfortably when ever they are parade to the public? But if na southerners naw, you go see them sit on the ground.
