Elections are opportunities for citizens to elect leaders who govern the affairs of the country. The 2023 general election is no exception. As insecurity and inflation rate are on the rise, most Nigerians warm up to choose their preferred leader to take power.

Below is the scheduled date for the 2023 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, announced by its Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu:

- February 18th, 2023: General Elections

Subsequently, the chairman revealed that more details of the timetable will be released after the Anambra Governorship election scheduled to hold on the 6th of November 2021.
