- A primary school boy has caught the eyes of Nigerians over what he engages in

- The 6-year-old boy identified as Benjamin despite his young age works as an auto mechanic

- Pictures of him getting down to work has generated mixed reactions on social media

6-year-old Benjamin caused quite a stir on social media as pictures of him working as an auto mechanic surfaced on social media. The Nigerian kid, according to a Facebook post by Wisdom Atasie in Igbo Rant HQ group, is a primary two pupil.

According to Wisdom, a man identified as Destiny had taken his car to Evbareke Auto Spare Parts Market when he came in contact with the young lad and took photos of him.

Detiny while praising Benjamin, highlighted the importance of learning a skill early in life as it was key to being good at one's job, especially in a country where a university degree doesn't guarantee a job after school.

While many people condemned it as they argued that Benjamin was being robbed of his childhood, others commended him for being hardworking despite his young age.

Comfort Kalu said: "It's good but to me, he is too young to start that. We should not rob children of their innocence because of how economy is. Let him play and sleep like his mates, when he is more matured, he will be encouraged to get a vocational training of his choice."

Nuel Edward wrote: "This is really lovely. My children must acquire skills from their early years."

Blessing Nkenna reacted: "Nice one but 6years is too early, he should have atleast be through with primary school, that time he will be like 10years."
