Matrix Homes & Properties Ltd has announced that Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, alias Baba Ijesha, is no longer its brand ambassador.

The company disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

Baba Ijesha is currently in police custody for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.

Matrix said in the statement posted on social media that the embattled entertainer ceases to be its ambassador “following his recent misconduct which is antithetical to our company’s values.”

The Lagos-based company concluded that it “dissociates itself in entirety from Baba Ijesha.”
