Another needless, money wasting charade. We know the candidates have been handpicked by the party 'owners' We know it's compensation for the 'boys' and a means of consolidating on the power. Why waste the people's money and time on the obvious? Local Government elections should be held same time with the state govt elections and be conducted by INEC until the SIEC becomes truly independent. 1 Like 1 Share |

When will Osun state do this? Even if you can't afford an election, because I see all these LGA election as a waste of money because the ruling parties usually clear everything, why not appoint those to run things ? |
