Dear Nairalanders Advice needed please. How long does it usually take for a settlement visa to be processed. Also is it possible for the applicant to request back for passport in order to travel - if the processing visa will take a long time? Does it then mean applicant will have to reapply i.e. start all over again, should passport be resent. Thank you |

It depends on a lot of things. If you live in the UK, it can take up to 3 months to have this processed and you will be able to ask for your passport if you need to travel but that means going back to the end of the queue. Besides, you can always ring them up to ask these questions. They are better qualified to answer. |
