We were made to think shagari deported Ghanaians first.. Big lies

In 1969 during the administration of former Prime Minister, Koffi Busia, Ghana implemented its Alien Compliance Order, which saw the deportation of undocumented West African immigrants, mostly Nigerians.

History is very important

Two decades later, under the government of Shehu Shagari, Nigeria retaliated by deporting over 1 million African immigrants in 1983, most of who were Ghanaians

Yes, Ghana deported Nigerians in 1969 and Nigeria deported Ghanaians twice, in 1983 and 1985, under Shagari and Buhari. So it's Ghaan's turn to deport Nigerians, so we can have it 2-2 draw cool

Ghana would soon get the hammer this back and forth is already getting boring. How do you lock people shops and ask them to pay $1m and even after paying you still lock it.

Nigerian and Ghana are not in any competition or beefing.

Anyone that is not ready to abide by the law of Ghana should be deported.

Why is it that majority of those affected are from a particular tribe?

I swear crazy foolishness, imagine Ghanaians paying 7k for resident permit in Nigeria and we pay $400 in Ghana what kind of madness is this

Ghana Immigrtion Service don put big money on top Residency Permit requirements, di money high pass di fees wey di Nigerian Immigration Service dey charge. These include di compulsory Non-citizen ID card wey cost (US$120, and US$60 for yearly renewal); Medical examinations, Covid-19 wey dem just introduce go cost about ($120), and payment for residency permit (US$400 compare to di N7,000 Ghanaians dey pay for residency card for Nigeria).

Outrageous stipulations for di Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Act. When dem start di Act for 1994, foreigner go gats invest at least US$300,000 by way of equity capital and also employ 10 Ghanaians. Dem don amend dis act two times now, di 2018 GIPC Act don raise di minimum capital base for foreign-owned businesses to US$1m. Although na foreigners dem tok but e be like say di GIPC's definition of foreigners na Nigerians. Di GIPC Act also dey against di ECOWAS Protocol

Its not don't lie. Nigeria has similar laws banning foreigners from certain occupations. Lastly ecowas protocols don't regulate these laws. If they do cite which protocol on particular you're talking about.
