“Savage” is an excellent opener that keeps it short and sweet (just hits the three-minute mark). The production work is smooth as hell, with trap-inspired rhythms, looped synths, and a minor key setting. “Savage” is naturally ‘sketchy-sounding,' provided the title and minor key.

“Everything” has a star-studded ensemble, with Trey Songz and Ludacris joining the cast. It's a fun collaboration from Savage, but it's not the'second coming.' The first verse is sung by Tank, and the second verse is sung by Songz. Songz's love of women makes him an ideal match. Ludacris isn't a bad choice either, but his third verse comparison to Frozen is intriguing...

Classic adult contemporary signals, such as soulful electric guitar, benefit “Only One.” This isn't the dominant style – new R&B sounds still reign supreme – but it's a departure from past songs and production in this regard. The album has a bit more substance to it, but it's far from chivalrous.
