His conflicting and contradictory prophesies and pronouncements is the reason. Though I believed the church authorities should have been more proactive and straight forward in making their position known. For instance the church should have announced temporal suspension of religious activities in the adoration ground as at Monday including a mention that Fr. Mbaka is needed in the diocesan secretariate for the meantime. Apart from the above oversight from the church authorities base on poor assessment of the problem, am completely in support of the action of the mother church in this incidence. Leadership demands that the bishop demand official explanation for his conducts from Fr. Mbaka at that juncture. This he did by inviting him to the bishop court.

From day one I have never been comfortable with fr. Mbaka's sojourn into politics base on his position as an influential minister of God under a unique denomination like the Catholic church.

Another ugly angle to the whole scenario is the fact that he asked for contracts from Buhari which he never denied. Before now Mbaka is seen by the Igbo youths as part and parcel of this government. This I expect him to know and so true is it that he was so vocal in humiliating our own Peter obi in 2019 in favour of Buhari and his government. One of the dos and don'ts in politics is that you don't criticise a government you are part of in public no matter what happens. Whenever and wherever such happens, there is always something fishy about it. There is always something against logic about it. The handlers of the federal government and indeed anybody who understands the basics of politics knows this. This is why Garba Shehu refused to waste any time in spilling the beans the moment fr. Mbaka went the inglorious part of criticising the government he was part of. To any sane mind with sound knowledge of logic and deep understanding of basics of politics, Fr Mbaka's criticism of Gen. Buhari's government has done more harm to mbaka than good. There is no gain stating that this might be the beginning of the Enugu Adoration Ministry's boss exit from Catholic Church. The Bishop Kukas of this world knows the intricacies of Church leadership and society demands and plays politics with strict observance of it's rudiments.

But this is not to say that what Fr. Mbaka said was not the truth. The long and short of it is that Fr. Mbaka, by his past actions and involvements with this government is not qaulified to tell us the truth contained in his criticism. He and no one else disqualified himself with his past actions. People should know that it is not every one that is qualified to tell the truth in some situations. A truth told by an aggrieved person most times looses its status to be one. In all this I can say that Our own Fr. Camilus Ejike Mbaka, has been a good priest, a good philanthropist, a good counsellor, and perhaps a good prophet but unfortunately he is also a poor politician.

Truth be told, father, you're telling the truth.

But is he qualified to do so, base on his involvements with the government?
