Have you ever heard of cursed, haunted or bewitched houses? , You might be wondering, do they exist in Nigeria, well, my answer will be (yes).
Renting such an apartment can be a disaster especially if you don’t know.
I know a story of a young man that rented a mini flat in Lagos and shortly after he moved in, strange things started happening. According to him, every night when he sleeps, he was always dreaming of masquerades, animals and all sort of evil things. To then cap it all up, in his office he was suddenly transferred to a different location with very little flow of cash (so his finances got affected). Less than two month into the house he stopped staying there and moved to his friends place and things began to change for the better, his boss returned him back to his former office and the bad dreams also stopped.
This young man never went back to that house again, in short he said that he left the house with all his stuffs there.
So here are some simple steps to follow to avoid renting a house with spiritual problems:

There are different reason people move to a new house, some might have a bigger family and may need a bigger space to accommodate the growing family, so they move into a new apartment, some may find it difficult to renew their rent so they move to a smaller and cheaper apartment, others may leave the building because of constant spiritual attacks on their family in general from the landlord and the house, just like the example I gave above. So it is your job to get some insight if not all, but a bit into why the previous occupant vacated the place.

Please note that the real truth would not come from the agent or the landlord because they would not want to pass any information to you that would eventually change your mind from renting the house. That means, these questions are to be forwarded to other occupants of the building, neighbors or any friendly person living in the next compound and so on.
Another thing to note is that, you should make enquiry from more than one person to be able to properly get the truth.

There are occasions you find a good house that matches your desire but something in you don’t just accept the house.
