Believing in Jesus is not all about having a better life. That is far from the point. This lie is what many preachers tell for financial profit. In fact, the first christians were desititutes, abandoned by not just families and the state, but they were tortured and killed for their beliefs. Christianity is not about financial gain. Jesus did not come to the world to die so that we can buy Bentleys. That is a heresy from the piy of hell. Jesus died to take the punishment for our sin, so that when we stand before God to give an account of how we lived our lives (which we did not give to ourseleves, believe it or not) we would be justified through Christ. Nothing to do with the Bentleys bull sheet that people use to market their business.

Another absurdity I find hilarious is what god, hence christians consider perfection.Human perfection according to the story means two nake_d humans walking around a garden for the pleasure of god. I consider that voyeuristic on the part of the so called holy entity refered to has god. Or maybe god and his angels were also running around free balling in heaven or whereever they were before creation. I also find it funny that it was a nake_dman god created first and was content to watch him frolick around with the other animals, he must be a repressed homosexual and that's the reason for that leviticus verse.
Then the tree of knowledge itself, why would god put the tree in the garden and make it's fruit edible if the humans who lived there were not supposed to touch it? Sounds like a trickster god to me, more in tune with the yoruba diety Eshu than any benevolent entity.

When human knowledge and society were infantile, gods used to walk among us, even impregnating our virgins . When our knowledge grew,gods decided to stay permanently in the sky/clouds/mount olympus. When we developed telescopes, gods decided to move to other galaxies that our telescopes couldn't observe yet. We created more powerful telescopes like the hubble and the gods moved even further away. We left the planet and put satellites into orbit, then we flew to the moon and sent unmanned crafts into the universe and the gods said f_ck it and moved out of the universe entirely. That's why we don't have evidence for gods and why these religious folks refer to their gods as invincible, beyond human knowledge and any other irrational attributes they attach to them.

Your post made me look up the talking donkey story again and its even more ridiculous than I thought. Read the whole chapter and pay attention to verses 18- 35 lmao.

verse 20, god tells balaam to do something, "20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, [and] go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do."

verse 21, balaam obeys. "21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab"

Now it gets really good!

verse 22, god being god. "22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his donkey, and his two servants [were] with him."

god then sends an angel with a sword (maybe a laser gun) to basically f_ck with the guy's donkey.

23 And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the backside turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the backside, to turn her into the way.

Now I'm no coward, but if a donkey or any animal "talks" to me, the next verse definitely won't be my first reaction. A normal person's reaction would be "WTF? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA   THIS F____CCCCkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkinnnnnnnnnG DONKEY TALKED." or something of that nature, but balaam was a bad mutha.

Then the punchline of this joke(story) is verse 35.

Yes, the same instruction god gave him in verse 20; the instruction that he was carrying out that made god mad, is the same instruction that he was given again!
