Part of the benefits of being close to a clueless man like Buhari is the looting. They ought to be rich forever by now.

Even Buhari's driver was scamming him.

He said and I quote “ As for the south-south, their reputation precedes them. Their potential and capacity for resistance and violence is known. Take their silence for granted at your peril. ”

They are really taking us in this south south for granted just because we want a peaceful environment here in the South. If them try am attack south south, the whole world will watch in horror what will be done to the North.

Restructuring this country into regional governments is the way to go.
The earlier our leaders face this truth, the better.

you need a brain more, cos if you have one you will know these evil govt of buhari has no reception for advice or external support. it is just a govt by themselves for themselves. who do they listen, even if jesus talk today femi or shehu might say he criticism buhari because he is a muslim, or remind him of how he was seen with a prostitute.
All the energy these people put into countering objective criticism if they put such respond to insurgences & fast rising insecurities in the country there will be positive change.
Most importantly there statutory job to protect lives & property so it there job to provide solutions not ours.

Some people can literally do well and better than others...

For instance, you can't compare Osinbajo with Sambo...The two are VPs but one is more active and intelligent, more than the other..and you know which one is better...

You don't give people opportunity, you chose them base on their performance and their energy and zeal and their steadfastness....

Some people are called to serve to be compensated for their political supports and not because of their energy to serve....

Irrelevant comparison.

Wonderful article.

You cannot help but feel sorry for the men whose task is to defend a president whose proclivities have now proven to be indefensible. They are struggling so hard to look for reasons why their principal and the government they run have failed so spectacularly.

Cross examination on many levels....

I can tell, I had believes on Osinbajo because I read about his achievements as a commissioner and as attorney general..... And I had a friend who briefed me about him... I wasn't convinced about Buhari and I knew he will be a problem..

Femi is a journalist and his area of specialty is to write, ask questions and be good at answering questions as well... and not as an administrator...

You are just supporting and campaigning for the VP, Prof. Osibanjo. Your aurgement is not really convincing. Perhaps, the guy you quoted made meaning. It's quite true that people seems to be patriotic until given a chance. They seems tobri have solutions to our challenges untill given the mandate. Seems to be totally for the Nigerian masses until they assume position of responsibility.
That you read about Osibanjo's past record and a friend briefed you about him sound childish. Do you realize how good people still talked about Buhari. Have you not held the heavenly things said about the late Mallam Aba Kyari? I held people who are close to the present Kaduna state governor, praised him as in high heaven same goes to all leaders and politicians.
Ours may be a totally different case, because here in Nigeria, people excell well in their chosen careers only to fail in public service.

Come to think of it, why will want to depend so much on Osibanjo's past records you only read where as you have Mr. Osibanjo right now as the VP? What logic do you have in trusting what you only read more than what you are seen with your eye? Is Prof. Osibanjo's actions and inactions as VP not worth judging someone's sincererity about the love and commitment for a better Nigeria? Can't judges someone's level of patriotism from his position as number two citizen?

In case you can't let give you a little hint. Nigeria has never been divided the way she is now, courtesy the government ( in which Osibanjo is the second in command) injustice to some section of the country, favourism to some section and lopside appointments. What has been Osibanjo's stance against such unpatriotic acts as the second in command.
Will a true patriotic citizen align with a group in taken actions that are capable breaking down his own country? What happens to divorcing the marriage?
