In 24 out of 36 states of our
country, today, Nigerian voters will
go out to elect governors and
members of the state houses of
assembly.
The remaining 12 states that are
scheduled to hold elections on later
dates are Ondo, Osun, Edo,
Anambra, Ekiti, Kogi, Bayelsa, Cross
River, Sokoto, Adamawa, due to the
fact that their governor's tenures are
yet to expire.
On the other hand, Bauchi and
Kaduna elections were postponed as
an aftermath of the violence
that followed the announcement of
the presidential election results.
