You need to understand something about the church.
Every pin a priest owns belongs to the church including the clothes on his body.
Even gifts from your family members eg cars,the church owns it.
At his death,everything including his clothes will be shared to the needy or redeployed to those who need them.
A priest does not marry or procreate so has no need for worldly wealth.
Those of them in big parishes don't even know the outcome or amount donated in offering,the money goes from the offertory box to the bank after counting and arranging.If you grew up in the east,you would always see som1 from the parish council come to the bank with the offering money on Monday mornings and market women will also be waiting to collect change from that money .
