From 1999 - 2015, the masses have voted in every elections, many of them are manipulated, bribed and also given palliatives to vote for a particular candidate, the end result of this type of voting system leads to diaster, no improvement and mass mismanagement of the economy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, i bring to you a new voting system of the future, it will bring change and development, good voting decisions and good government into power.

The voting system is simple, Only land and Business owners should be allowed to vote in 2023.

The logic is this, owning a house, landed property, business is a wise decision, it means you are making income off your assets, if you can do that, that means you will be able to vote wisely for candidates who has your interest at hand, the truth is if a candidate has the the interest of the land and business owners at hand in return it will help in giving them incentives to help create more opportunities for all, also people of high iq will be given power to control the affairs of the nation.

And when you elect that president and leaders, they will govern over only that select few right?

As long as you can prove that you have a land in Nigeria, you are qualified to vote. It doesn't matter the location.

For a vote to count in an environment like Nigerias, there must be quality behind the vote..

The idea that everyone should vote is meant to generate participation across board. But when such participation is tainted with base sentiments, there is an urgent need to qualify the process through "systemic standardization".. Maybe by raising the educational qualifications necessary! Or through a process closer to some sort of "electoral college" .. Anything altruistically skewed towards having quality representations..

Same for those congesting for political positions. It is a blasphemy for this country to be ruled by grossly uninformed men brandishing just their WAEC results. For the positions of governor, president and that if lawmakers, a masters degree should suffice.. That doesn't mean we won't be having some misfits in government, it will just help to sanitize a desperate system already hyjacked by charlatans and political jobbers..
