Juventus' decade:

- Nine consecutive Serie A titles.

- Four consecutive Coppa Italia.

- An unbeaten league season.

- A 102 point league season.

- Two UEFA Champions League finals.

- Most wins in a single Serie A season.

Juve have been blessed with myriad incredible footballers over the past decade. And here's the very best of them:

Goalkeeper & Defenders

Gianluigi Buffon (GK) - Obvious one, but Gianluigi Buffon is quite literally the best goalkeeper in Football history and, over the past decade, he's cemented his status as one of the greatest Juventus players in the history of mankind.

Andrea Barzagli (RCB) - The most underrated central defender of a generation? Undoubtedly. In terms of pure defensive talent, Barzagli was the very best of the famed BBC. During the first half of the decade the World Cup winner was astonishing - full-on astonishing.
Leonardo Bonucci (CB) - Juventus fans have had some trouble forgiving Leo for abandoning ship for a single season to join the AC Milan revolution (which flopped...really, really badly), but there's denying just how good he's been over the past decade for Bianconeri. The 'footballer' in BBC, Bonucci was the best libero (wanky football lingo alert) in Europe when Conte switched to a back three, and then arguably the best centre back in Europe when Allegri reverted to a back-four.

Giorgio Chiellini (LCB) - So we've established that Barzagli was perhaps the best defender in the BBC and Bonucci was the best footballer in the BBC; so what was/is Giorgio Chiellini? He's the undeniable leader of the trio. The one who makes everything tick. The one who has put his body on the line time and time again for Juve. The one who will go down as the second best defender in the club's history (behind Gaetano Scirea).

Midfielders

Stephan Lichtsteiner (RM) - Run Forest, runnnnnnnn! Affectionately nicknamed Forest Gump by Juventini, Lichsteiner ran up and down the right touchline for seven years, and became a club legend in the process.

Arturo Vidal (CM) - This sale really hurt Juve fans. They haven't really gotten over it yet, and me writing about how bloody brilliant he was for the club won't help. Put simply, not since Michel Platini has a midfielder played as well for Juventus football club. Particularly during the 2013/14 season, Vidal was unstoppable. He scored 18 goals, made a trillion slide tackles, and was the best midfielder in Europe.

Andrea Pirlo (CM) - Awwwwwwwhere do you even start? The fact that he was a free transfer and became the catalyst for the most trophy-laden period in the club's history? The free kick goals against Fiorentina, Napoli, Genoa etc. etc. etc.? The fact that he was the reason the best midfield in the club's recent history was formed? The fact that he scored a last second winner in the Derby della Mole?
The fact, by being so ridiculously brilliant, that he completely destroyed my interpretation of every 'ball-playing' central midfielder that I've seen since?

Claudio Marchisio (CM) - As you can probably guess, the final CM berth was a toss up between Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio. The latter just edges Pogs however, because of how good he was for such an extended period of time for the club. At Juve since the age of eight, Marchisio rose through the ranks in Turin to become a true fan favourite. But not just a fan favourite because he seems like a lovely fella and is a Juventini through and through, he was also an exceptionally gifted footballer.
One of the true stars of the first three Scudetti for the club this decade, Marchisio had it all. Athletic, technical, a leader, an eye for goal, the most beautiful man to ever play for the club. You name it, he had it.

Alex Sandro (LM) - I'm not going to lie, when I was making this XI it did feel a bit wrong to have Sandro in it while the likes of Pogba, Mirko Vucinic and Carlos Tevez wallowed in 'honourable mentions'. I can't play any of those players at LM however (even though Allegri tried), so the place goes to Alex Sandro. He is really good to be fair, and his debut season at the club was exceptional.

Forwards

Paulo Dybala (ST): Thank the lord that Dybala refused to leave the club in the summer. Put simply, he is the most gifted offensive talent that Juventus fans have bore witness to this decade.

Gonzalo Higuain (ST): He may have, to date, only spent two and a half full seasons at Juve, but in that period Higgy has established himself as one of the most beloved players in Bianconeri's recent history. Oh, and he's also scored a million and one goals (approximately) - mostly incredibly important ones. Higgy scored the brace that took Juventus to a Champions League final, the last minute goal at San Siro that won Juve the Serie A and about a trillion goals against Napoli.
He also won Juventus MVP twice. Hero.

Honourable mentions: Paul Pogba, Mirko Vucinic, Alessandro Del Piero, Fabio Quagliarella, Alessandro Matri, Kwadwo Asamoah, Wojciech Szczesny, Emanuele Giaccherini, Simone Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Martin Caceres, Simone Padoin, Juan Cuadrado, Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente, Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic.

Do you agree with the list ?
