Job Title: Factory Assistant

Location: Umuahia, Abia State.

Job Description
• Operating equipment in our factories.
• Loading and offloading items from machines; conveyors and conveyances; operate machinery used in production process, or assist machine operators to achieve their operational objectives.
• Place product in equipment on work surfaces to further processing, inspection or any other necessary action.
• Examine product to verify conformance to quality standards; start machines or equipment to begin manufacturing or food processing processes.
• Any other task as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
• Candidates should be able to operate in a normal factory environment, safely using equipment to support factory operations.
• Candidates with a background or training in science and/or engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in a similar function will be an added advantage

• Candidates must be residing or ready to relocate to Umuahia, Abia State

Industrial Internship Program

To achieve this, the Corporation hires the best available talent to conceive and implement its ideas, while we create a dynamic and rewarding work environment to nurture and sustain this creative spirit.

We are open to University & Polytechnic students seeking Industrial Internship in our Organisation. Interns will ideally support experienced engineers and other professionals in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of corporate business. Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network.
Location: Umuahia, Abia State
Eligibility:
- You MUST be a student of a University or a Polytechnic
- You MUST be available for the program for not less than minimum of (5) months of engagement.
- Your CGPA MUST be leading to a minimum of a Second Class /Upper Credit (or its equivalent) at the time of application
- Applying students MUST be resident in Umuahia or willing to relocate at no cost to the organisation
