The Nigerian Army NCOs and SNCOs have rejecting the proposed Welfare Housing Scheme in which a huge sum amount will be remitted monthly from their token salaries. It is pertinent to note that this have to be checked and reviewed as the other ranks in Army are the pillars of the force. As claimed by the other ranks, this scheme is set up by the superior commissioned officers (generals), as to embezzle their welfares. It is alleged by the SNCOs that this corruption has been going on in the military for a very long time, particularly in the Army, without been checked. Furthermore, the Non-commisioned officers further express their grievances that if this continue same way, they will pick up arms against their superiors in a short while. They urged the president and House of Representatives to look into this fraud scheme and correct the anomaly.
