Israeli military officials told the media early Friday morning that ground troops had entered the Gaza Strip, in what would have been a major escalation of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants.

About an hour later, Israeli officials walked back their statement. No ground incursion was in fact underway.

The statement and subsequent clarification meant that for a brief, frenetic window, much of the foreign press corps in Israel, including reporters for The Washington Post, were working under the assumption that ground forces were operating inside Gaza — only to be told by the very same sources that they had been misled...

Joe Biden is now the President of the USA and he said that Israel has the right to defend itself. I'm sure you were disappointed Joe Biden said that.
For your information the USA is and has been a reliable ally of Israel since before you were born. Whether it's a Republican or Democrat US government their stand with Israel has been the same.
The Middle East problem is much more complex
Have you bordered asking yourself why the likes of Egypt and Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia sit on the fence while Shia Iran confronts Israel?
I bet you don't know that even Russia and China supports Israel and a vast majority of European countries ,some support Israel secretly so as not to garner hatred from terrorist sympathizers .The day any country tries to attack Israel that's the end of that country.
So if you know what is good for you you better pray no serious harm befalls Israel

Most wars are won on deception. The trojan horse is a classic example but our NA will announce to the whole universe what they are about to do, only to be ambushed by the terrorists and innocent soldiers loose their lives
