IBB reveals what Buhari must give Nigerian soldiers – Former military President of Nigeria, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), has asked the government to give soldiers modern weapons and train them appropriately, in the fight against insecurity. IBB stated this during an interview with BBC Hausa on Sunday. The former Head of State also claimed he always advises the government on the matter, but does not make noise about it. Weapons are not the problem. The soldiers don't see reason for engaging the war that is being sabotaged constantly. Coupled with massive looting! Bokoharam started with sticks and knife. Most of the weapons they are noe using were gotten from Nigeria forces. Till today, Bokoharam does not get 1/4 of what Nigerian forced get yearly. |
