You have a good point. However, self drive does not mean that one should leave the steering totally. In a world with so many factors and uncertainties, self driving will take a long time to be perfect, even with the best sensors.

They will perfect it cos naturally self-driving cars should be perfect than human beings. self-driving cars can see more views at a time than human beings, so they should be reacting faster to human errors than humans.

They will fix it. The problem may be the weather. Change in weather sometimes blur some images and make them look a bit different. I trust Oyibo, they will perfect it. They don't stop projects because of casualties.

Tesla has been warning users to always be conscious when using it, it's more of driving assist, than an autopilot.
But users will not hear word.
