I consider this movie to be one of the greatest movies of all time. A movie directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, subtly explores a beautiful thematic structure; “heroes ready to sacrifice their lives to save the world, when will they be ready to sacrifice the lives of others to save the world”...

Earth’s mightiest avengers unwilling to make a little sacrifice to save the planet as well as it’s future.


Doctor Strange, one of Avengers’ strongest, gives Thanos the Time stone in order to save Tony Stark, ironically saving stark and endangering the world, isn’t that selfish?

If the Avengers are who they claim to be then they should be expendable, put their lives on the table with no questions asked. With these acts I believe the Avengers because of the powers they possess, take it away and they’d never consider being one

Thanos was never the bad guy: Believing that the universe is overpopulated, which led to the destruction of his home planet Titan, he vows to bring balance to the universe by removing half the life in the universe so as to save the universe from collapse/ destruction. Thanos analyzes this to little Gamora by balancing a dagger on his finger then said “Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Too much too one side and the other”...

He explains a universal balance to Gamora, if the universe gets over populated on one side or the other, there would be a massive collapse. Gamora’s planet was undergoing poverty and famine, but Thanos changed this. All he wanted was bringing balance to save life from collapsing



Great success comes with great price: in order to bring a balance to the universe, half of life must be wiped out of existence. Thanos called this mercy and an inevitable price that must be paid to save all, which was better than losing all life completely.

When Thanos sort to collect the soul stone from Vormir; Red skull, keeper of the stone tells him that he must sacrifice the life of one he loves in order to get the soul stone, he reluctantly sacrificed gamora


Infinity war depicts our planet Earth: Our world is getting overpopulated leading to confusion, war, poverty, global warming, one sided wealth and more evil.

Our world government is subtly tackling this; China’s population is 2 billion+, the government of China passed a bill on the birth of children to be cut down to two. Science is creating diseases and virus, installed in drugs and shipping them across Africa and asia so as to wipe lives, electronic gadgets are becoming more harmful than useful, putting people in the hospital, mobiles are exploding and taking lives, sexual diseases on the rise; who knows, condom could be infected with virus so as to release disease and destroy reproductive system, sex dolls are being manufactured so as to reduce sexual intercourse with women for reproduction, many more are happening under our noses, who knows maybe tomorrow these sex dolls would be injected with sexual virus so as to take lives of people, these are strategies of depopulation

How much does the Earth and its population weigh?

You can’t fight destiny: Thanos said ‘dread it, run from it. Destiny arrives all the same’.

No matter how you run or fight it, you can either run to it or fight to its fulfilment but can never stop it. Your fate is your fate, your destiny is your destiny, nothing changes


You will lose some of your great battles: You can never have it all, sometimes the best of opportunities may slip away, there are times you will lose big but it is never the end of the line.

I’m sure everyone expected the Avengers to win this Thanos’ dominated battle, even by the slightest chance but unfortunately they didn’t. Who would believe that the greatest Avengers would lose out in a war to the Mad Titan




There are times when the only option is the most unwanted: there are times when you get so stuck that you find yourself doing what you least expected, you get so confused and helpless that the only option is the most unwanted but you have to do it.

Vision had the mind stone, removing it would be taking his life, Steve Rogers believes it would be possible to remove the stone in Wakanda without taking his life but there was no time to wait that long. The only option was to destroy the stone which would obviously kill Vision; it was a tough decision for Maximoff to make



Pride is like running on banana pills: We all know the end result of that... Thanos’ lieutenant, Ebony Maw was clearly too confident in his abilities, full of pride and belittled everyone else, fought the Avengers with aloof but unfortunately gets kicked into empty space when he dies



Infinity war is similar to rapture: The bible speaks of the end of days; as the people begin to disintegrate, there was chaos and confusion. In the post credit scene, an helicopter crashes to a building after its pilot disintegrates; that is an example of the end of days


Why each stone was necessary: There are six stones of various colours:

Reality = Red

Mind = Yellow

Time = Green

Power = Purple

Soul = orange

Space = Blue



In my own explanation

All six stones are the forces guiding the universe’s existence and in order to achieve the goal of a universal balance, Thanos needs to harness all six stones in an infinity gauntlet. At the snap of a finger all six stones work together to wipe out half the life in the universe.

The soul stone takes the souls of all affected lives; the times stone makes sure the time line is not affected by the absence; the reality stone takes charge of reality so the absence doesn't alter reality; the power stone is the force behind their disintegration; the mind stone will probably reset the mind of the universe and the space stone balances the universe (that’s my analysis though).




Strong choices demand strong will: Just like Thanos the mad titan, you will need to build your will strongly before being able to make strong choices. Thanos was a wise and very skilled strategist, his will was strong in equal with the choices he had to make
