With less than a month to the Euro 2020 teams have started releasing squad names for the players who will execute the games for their respective countries at the event.

However, while the gladiators are just getting revealed by the coaches of the various national teams are participating at the event, the venues where the matches will take place have long been identified.

Unlike several other European championship that were previously held in one nation or co-hosted by two countries, the Euro 2020 will be the first of its kind that will be held in 11 different European countries.

Euro 2021: Know The Venues

According to Wikipedia, each city will host three group stage matches and one match in the round of 16 or quarter-finals, with the exception of Saint Petersburg, which will host six group stage matches, and London, which will host two matches in the round of 16.

From Azerbaijan to Denmark, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Scotland and Spain, the Euro 2020 isn't limited to a location and we take a look at the game venues.




Wembley Stadium
England, London
Capacity: 90,000

The iconic London city will be one of the centers for games in the unique Euro 2020. The venue for matches is of course the Wembley Stadium.

Group stage matches in Group D, two round of sixteen matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final match on July 11th.

England, Croatia, Scotland and Czech republic will all play their group stage at the stadium.

Stadio Olimpico
Italy, Rome
Capacity: 70,000

The home to the Rome rivals of Lazio and AS Roma will host Group A games and quarter final matches. Italy, Turkey, Switzerland and Wales will play their group stage games at the stadium.

Germany, Munich
Capacity: 70,000

Bayern Munich home ground is Germany's venue for the euros and it is going to be the venue for group stage games in group F where Hungary, Portugal, France and Germany.
