Up to 35 pieces died two weeks ago, today 200 pieces are dead. The tank supplying water to them has been washed. What could be the cause pls? They are not baby snails.

That's snails for you o. Even with the right feeding and nutrients, they die that way.

Show us your pen, let us see the condition of the snails and probably we can give lastly solution to stop them from dieing.

Note: Poor ventilation: unable to receive fresh air can kill snails in number.

Possible causes
Atmospheric change(temperature, humidity,moisture..)
Indigestion
You have to give more details..
