Robert Allen, the young successful Copywriter who's made $50million plus for his clients. Recently did a 30 days challenge He did a 30 Days Challenge as a newbie Copywriter with no portfolio He aimed at making $5k as a newbie copywriter, and by the end of 30 days - he achieved $9k (all of this is documented). But HEY!!! Take a look at his winning UPWORK proposals and what he did that made it work. Robert Allen's 4 winning Upwork proposals for his 30 Day Challenge Winning Proposal 1 - https://d.pr/i/COLoGh ($100 gig that I ended up getting a $100 tip on) Winning Proposal 2 - https://d.pr/i/kh9Wco ($25 gig for a blog post) Winning Proposal 3 - https://d.pr/i/ncJnmp ($100 gig for 6 emails) Winning Proposal 4 - https://d.pr/i/JVdmg3 ($1500 gig for 15 emails and 3 blogs) A couple of things about these because without context they seem crazy! 1) The most important thing with ALL of the proposals was being willing to write a bold, and sometimes downright crazy, the first line of copy. You’ll see I did things like put “Upwork's LEAST qualified copywriter” or “WORMS!” (for a recycling gig) to get people’s attention. That attention was critical to standing out and getting deals. My advice, the bolder you are, the better. You have a lot more to lose by being timid than not... 2) I always made sure to include specific things from the job listing in the proposal. I never relied on templates and tried to include personal facts that tied me to the projects. Like my connection to composting and passion for supplements. I also made sure to include any specific words they included in their postings. I think this makes a massive difference because so many people are just sending the same copy and paste messages again and again. 3) I almost always ended with a question. I ask for a link to the store or more details. I find it helps to entice the client to reply rather than asking for the job right away. There’s actually a lot of psychology baked into this. But the biggest thing is you don’t come across as needy, which is good for getting gigs. This is just a tip of an iceberg of what we copywriters get in Robert's inner circle Get the recordings of his step by step process he used to rake over $9k as a newbie copywriter If you're really serious about getting clients from Cold emailing or Upwork Join his inner circle through this link https://sparklp.co/4d012d06 1 Like 1 Share |
