Although I am not a fan of the Nigerian Army commanders, but modern warfare is mostly based on intelligence gathering and using sick to limit the scope of attack than random bombings and shootings and if the traditional ruler of a certain place do not see the COAS as trustworthy to let him know what he is seeing and credible info about the potential dangers in his town or city, how will he be able to gather good intelligence to prosecute the fight against insurgents within the kingdoms neighboring enclaves?
