At the 15th convocation ceremony of Covenant University, Dr Valentine Obi, the founder and group chief executive officer of eTranzact Global spoke on the emergence of technology in various industries.

He explains that there would be a disruption in the education, hospitality, and technological sectors. In his speech, he enunciated that in few decades to come, houses and physical products would be printed digitally to physical products that can be felt and touched. He further highlighted that this operation has begun in China. A six-story building was printed with 3D printing technology. In other examples, he mentioned that aircraft spare parts are being printed with 3D printing, cuisines are also being printed more importantly footwears are not left out.

He explicated that the world is evolving and in this evolution the would be a halt to what we consider regular or normal. An example is the 3D printing of products and edibles. other examples are the identification of any kind of disease by the "Live Tricorders" and the auto-pilot cars currently championed by Tesla and Apple Inc.
Conclusively, he explicated the education system would not be as we used to see it. Many will bag degrees that they used a short space of time to study.
