The Bible encourages us to seek knowledge, why do you detest knowledge? Is it because of Chauvinism? Knowledge to you is like sunlight to a vampire. If everything is in vain, why then do pastors acquire so many things? They won't take it along with them when they die doesn't mean their offsprings won't use them or reminisce about them. You didn't inherit anything from your people doesn't mean you should spoil things for others. No problem in being a Christian; I'm one myself but, I'm NOT a dumb one. I'm willing to seek knowledge as much as possible and from anyone or anywhere. You're making Christians look like unintelligent people that only follow what they're told and can't think for themselves. Hahaha you went to change from "in voke" to "in vogue" after correction.

Christians are particularly closed-minded people

They may have depreciated value-wise, but that doesn't mean it's all vanity. Some people will pay top notch money for these cars. It may be difficult for you to comprehend. Things evolve; doesn't mean the previously made ones are now in vain. Without Alexander Graham Bell, inventing the telephone, you wouldn't have what to use to type this. His first invention may not be of use right now, but it set a model for several other ones. Without Johannes Gutenberg, you wouldn't even have the printed copy of the bible you're always quoting. Vintage things are still useful and important, that's why we have museums. They may not be useful to you 'cause you lack the knowledge and technical know how, but let those that do, appreciate them. EVERYTHING IS NOT VANITY. You can't take it along when you die doesn't mean it can't be useful to someone else.

Someone as intelligent as you’re is stooping low to reply that fanatic who doesn’t know shît about life, than post rubbish on this forum. The niggr is just a nuisance. In an ideal forum he should be banned for spamming everywhere with his beliefs and disturbing the sanity of this forum. It’s good you have time to reply and school him.

@me
"All these are vanity" does not mean that all things are not useful. What it means is that they should not be the only reason for our existence. While we need and desire those things they should not become idols to us. They should not take us away from God. God desires that we should have them. After all silver and gold belong to him.

Nothing should take the place of eternity because they are not worth anything compared to what we get at eternity.

They should been taken within the context of what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any"

See as material men wan chope rightouseness for speaking truth. You no go die before one day?. So why you de kill body for this things. Like say na one big thing. Yes we use and appreciate them but godliness and contentment with peace is greater gain.

Funny thing about his statement is that it was made by easily the richest material man who ever lived. He was on everything looking down. many are under everything looking up.

No Man on death bed think of cars. On the last day or on the last of our days the truth reveals itself full. life grows us to death. As meaningfull as life is, it is ulterlly meaningless.

The toy most played with when kid were made bigger and most sense still relate with it as when they were kids even as adults.

The reason they hate rightouseness is because he reminds them of death.

humanity lost millions to covid yet and you can tell underneath people just want to return to doing business. No moaning or soul searching. A Soulless generation.
