Faleke's Candidate Is A Fraud, As Group Demand Her Disqualification. by aguele(m): 10:19pm On May 27
The Grand Alliance of Ojodu Conscious Indigenes has demanded the disqualification of Hon. James Faleke's Candidate for the Ojodu LCDA Chairmanship election, Alhaja Layeni Olufunmilayo Kafayat. Most ridiculous is the name dropping and grandstanding by Hon James Faleke, that their illegal action, has the full support of the National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to a press release signed by the group's spokesman, Comrade Kolawole Gbenga, it stated that it's unfortunate that someone aspiring to lead the council could be be parading a fake result.

He further added that the party is a platform which is built on good virtues which must not be exploited by power drunk personalities who will do anything to get political power.

Also, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has clarified the authenticity of the December 1979 result being paraded by Alhaja Layeni Olufunmilayo Kafayat, saying that the certificate is not genuine.

In the said result, Layeni claimed to have made C6 in English Language, C5 in Government, C4 in Economics, C4 in Mathematics, D7 in Biology, C5 in Commerce and C3 in Accounting. The examination body had stated that the said result did not come from them.

Comrade Kolawole Gbenga, has urged the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to disqualify Layeni from participating in thr primary election to decide the candidate of the party for the general election.

The group also called for a proper and thorough investigation into thr case since falsification of result is a serious crime under the Nigerian Legal System.
