Mass Killings In Benue As Buhari Expresses Concern At Situation In Mali by Tokotaya: 6:07pm On May 28, 2021
Pictures of rows of dead bodies of villagers freshly murdered by people suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have flooded the social media all day.

They are from the latest attack on Shikaan Mbagena Kpav community in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State. A total of 36 residents, including students were murdered.
It was gathered that the assailants stormed the community in the early hours of Thursday, May 27 and slaughtered the victims including some students of the College of Education, Katsina Ala.
Villagers, including children, packed their belongings on their heads and were pictured abandoning their homes and trekking to safety.

There were over 100,000 tweets on the issue, with the hashtag #BenueUnderAttack trending all day, but no word from official quarters.
However, about 2:36pm, the social media handle of President Muhammadu Buhari roared to life, but its concern was the situation in Mali.
