I have a close source that told me that in addition to the money paid to the bandits, brand new machines were also provided for them. No if our security forces are truth to themselves, will it be difficult to apprehend these guys.
Am definitely sure the money was paid by cash.

Now was the money paid in batches or paid at once.

If it's paid in batches, how come our security couldn't in any way track these bandits during one of the payment.

If the money was paid at once, 180M is like 18 stacks of money. If all the money were in #1000 notes, each stack will contain ten steps of two bundles each. Now the implication is that the bandits will need a car to carry it or at least 3machine.

How did all these take place and the security forces didn't in any way pick intel to track and arrest these bandits.

It's either our security forces are grossly incompetent or there is a higher authority stoping them from arresting bandits. And that authority could most like come from the presidency.

Now let's compare this.
Just last week, bandits attacked a community and kidnap villagers in Niger state. Within 3 days the vigilante of the community went after the bandits and succeeded in rescuing the victims. How often or how swift have our security agencies rescued victims after they were kidnapped.

It's so so obvious there is a power in the presidency cabal protecting these bandits. Else another power would have overridden it and pressure our security to go after the bandits.
1 packet of 1000 note is N100,000 - 100 pieces.
1 bundle of 1000 note is N500,000 - 500 pieces.
1 stack of 1000 note is 5,000,000.00 - 5,000 pieces.

It's so bad that family now have to withdraw their life savings and sell out properties and investments to have their children alive with them.

This government have failed so bad i doubt anybody can break the record of incompetence of the incompetent president of this country called Nigeria.

He failed woefully.

Are you saying you have to study in MIT, University of Oxford or Cambridge...

Haven't you heard about low budget schools for International students

California state University

South Texas college

Newyork state University

You don't need 180m to get a degree + masters in thos school
stop disgracing yourself the 180m is for all the kidnapped children not a single child or you want parents too to start kidnaping business to raise 180 to send their ward to abroad school

At N700=£1, what do you think N180 million is in a university in Europe?

Buhari government has driven Nigerians to nuts. Western education is fast becoming Haram in Nigeria.

I get your point, but N180m will send someone to many schools in UK and a lot of "change" will remain! And yes, even at that exchange rate.

The only problem is that the 180 is collective for all the parents, not one.
