Ecobank promoted about 350 staff without commensurate increase in pay. People expecting 100-120K increase got only about 7-17k. E shock you right? Na so e shock those staff too when May alert enter. Staff are crying, suffering and smiling. The bank is not in distress so why this decision from the Ecobank's management? As something like this happened in your organization? |

Is that the reason for creating a new account and spamming the entire Nairaland? This isn't reasonable at all. The Banking industry has a similar grading structure. Why not see this promotion as a bargaining chip and opportunity to move on to the next grade elsewhere? Your destiny is not tied to EcoBank so stop whining. Irrespective of commensurate financial upgrades, a promotion is a promotion. Let the staff leave and get another grade level in another bank.. It is easier to move from BO to SBO in another bank than from ABO to SBO. So, it is a good thing to be promoted. 1 Like |
