circumcision in male child is mandatory in Islam, but in a female child, there are variuos school of thought. Some says it is bad, and unislamic, while some says it is better. Fellow N/L. let us rob minds on this issue

May Allah guide us aright, women circumcision is not categorically mention in the quran. But scientific discovery has make an in road in to it. If women are not circumcise, they will have low libido when it come to sexual matter, if every thing is cut off, the libido will be so high that may lead to promiscous. Therefore, it's advisable to do it moderately. Wallahu halam

I said it in the begining that it is base on recent SCIENTIFIC discovery and not any islamic injunction. You can read more about it

Female circumcision is becoming more and more unpopular. Those that are against it have renamed it Female genital Mutilation (FGM) and view it as an abuse. In Islam, it is permissible and actually encouraged to circumcise females. But I don't think there's any harm in not having it done.
