Two men on Facebook with different views on the role of a woman in a marriage has caused serious debate on social media.


A man on Facebook with the name Victor Onyekachi Ojiako wrote;

"Never marry a jobless woman out of pity, let her get something doing first."


A Facebook user with the name Eric Ukaku responded, Saying that "if a man have a job and your earning can't sustain you and your wife then you don't have to marry. Woman are not created to toil with the man but to receive and be taken care of."


He further added: " if you marry and your wife decides to assist you financially then thank God but don't make it a condition for getting married. You as the man should be financially stable before getting into marriage.

Just know your man well to see if you are compatible and fit for his marital ideology

Both of them are right. A jobless woman without any handiwork nor small business should be with her parents, while a man who doesn't have a resources to sustain himself and his wife should keep searching

I support both men, especially the first man.

A woman should get something doing, if nah skills weh u learn; set it up and if nah small scale business start am, at least from there u can support ur man. NO MAN WANTS To MARRY A LIABILITY... trust me not even in this 21st century, same goes to the man..plan hard before u put person daughter for hardship.
