Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, has praised Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, his Enugu State counterpart, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State for taking aggressive steps in commemorating Biafra Day.

Remember that Nnamdi Kanu had proposed a sit-in to commemorate this year’s Biafra Day and to show his gratitude to all those who have died in the struggle for Biafra independence since 1976.

Kanu praised Governor Obiano’s mental strength in erecting a cenotaph in honor of fallen Biafra icons in a live broadcast Monday morning via Facebook and other web-based media platforms.
