Well meerkats are omnivore. Which is, dey are also carnivorous. There is also civets nd lisang which are native to africa. We cant exactly conclude it's mongoose. Besides all their babies look alike.

You could have raised it they are very loyal to their master

And it feeds on things that we hate; imagine raising it and it kills the snakes, lizards, rats and insects in your surroundings
