No right-thinking Nigerian will support Igbo presidency in 2023 – Buhari’s ex-aide, Alhaji Abdurrahman Sulaiman Kawu Sumaila.

Former Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters, Alhaji Abdurrahman Sulaiman Kawu Sumaila, has insisted that no right-thinking Nigerians will endanger their lives to support the candidature of any South-East politician vying for the presidency in 2023.

He also said that those responsible for the rising security challenges in the southeastern part of the country want to turn Nigeria into anarchy. Sumaila stated this on Thursday in a statement he issued to newsmen in Kano.

Recall that some groups from the Southeast advocating for Nigeria’s next president to come from the region had stressed that the Igbo presidency was the panacea to the country’s woes.

Also, unknown gunmen have been terrorizing the southeastern states in recent weeks, killing security personnel and attacking government establishments. A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan Ahmed Gulak, was also murdered on Sunday.

“With these atrocities committed by the South-East people on record, how can Nigerians entrust them to govern us? I am sure not a single right-thinking Nigerian will endanger his life to support the candidature of any South-East politician contesting for presidency come 2023 general elections,” Sumaila’s statement read in part.

“The perpetrators of the attacks must understand that if the country becomes chaotic, then nobody including the perpetrators can escape.”

Like you had in mind to elect an Igboman in 2023, by ensuring no Igboman heads any of the national security outfits.

Like you and Buhari were campaigning for Igbo presidency by seriously marginalising Igbos in this administration.

Take this to the bank. Open grazing has been banned throughout the whole south. Now go and die!!!

This is why I pray for the country to go into extinction.
I am not really interested in an igbo becoming the president but with this particular hateful mindset from the close associate of the president the Nigeria doesn't need to be a country. May wars and insurgency wipe away the remaining working parts of the country. May the country continue to dwindle unabated until it cease to exist

Who told you Igbo wants to be President of a failed state? No right thinking Igbo man or woman is aspiring to be President of this Lugard contraption. Can you get this into ur head unity begger, 99.9% of Igbos wants their own nation, and that we must get.
