I support it but the wine must be new and not old wine in a new bottle. Which means effective and all inclusive structure must come along with it

Something new is about to happen in Nigeria. The country is about to experience some rebirth. So giving the country a new name is a good idea; after all, even God changed Abram's name to Abraham when He was about to make him a father of many nations.

Those who would be an obstacle to this national rebirth in one way or the other will be eliminated.

For starters, Nigeria does not stand for Nigger Area which is not even a problem.

Secondly, changing the name of your country costs lots of money, time and resources. Think of stationeries alone, then your currency will have to change, your signposts, certificates across board, all the embassies abroad etc. Nightmare! Use the money to complete 2nd Niger Bridge, Rail lines etc.

MNK has really destroyed Nigeria with the truth, now everyone knows the name Nigeria is derogatory.
The country name change is like trying to put shampoo on a pig in a farm house, total waste of time.

1.Change of name is good!
2.But first our leaders has to change their mindset.(they are greedy)
No nation will progress with a set of greedy leaders. Who cares about what the want and how to save for their unborn generation. Is just Few that are after creating legacy
3.the gap between the rich and the poor should be a bit close. A hungry man is an Angry man. He will not care if the country name is change or not.
4.the electoral process should be seriously work on and also make electoral office so juicy.

So it's the name that is holding us back bah? Not the corruption or oversabi citizens who think cheating your fellow man is wisdom, but standing in queue is abomination. angry

Make una renamers nor let me vex. The money used to rename can build a few solid companies to provide employment.

grin grin Now that I think of it, reminds me of Wakanda... maybe it can have positive influence.
