NASS has to Appeal the matter until they arrive at the Apex court (Supreme). If I am to suggest,let RMAFC adjust their salaries,let it be equivalent to the salary of a permanent secretary in the Federal Ministry. That is Salary Grade Level 17,which if it's done even state house of assemblies,will also receive same with the Perm Sec in the State Ministries.
In the light of the above,a lot of them will back off from politics,while the good ones we go and make laws that will be beneficial to the masses.

What should be trimmed to reflect economic realities are the unrealistic armed robbers allowances.

Imagine monthly newspapers allowances running into millions.

Pls who still reads printed newspapers in this electronic age.

If they must read printed newspapers, it shouldn't be with outrageous monthly allowances.

Same should apply to other useless allowances.

They state shouldn't be paying for their newspapers. If they choose to read newspapers, they should be able to afford it. After all, newspapers are already being delivered to the NASS. The same applies for all other items on their remuneration list. Their clothes, furniture, aides, etc should be paid for from their own pockets.

Do or die politics would be a thing of the past if we have fewer than 100 part-time lawmakers paid per sitting, and no more than 200,000 monthly.
