Ask yourself too.. In the new country everyone is clamoring for, shebi all of us will have equal right?

The singular request we all want is a working system of Government.

Whether or not there is Yoruba, Biafra or Arewa nation, if that system of government isn't working. We will keep dividing until every family ends up as a country.

FrLukas:
Dear Yorubas who are still clamouring for one Nigeria, ask yourselves, why are you in the same boat with these selfish politicians?

The only thing you guys have in common is the opposition to Yoruba nation.

They are rich, you are poor.

They have visas out of this country should the Fulanis attack today, you on the other hand are stuck in Nigeria.

They have robbed the nation dry. You are the victim.

They have so much power they could snuff the life out of you. You are powerless.

Nothing in common except that you both want one Nigeria

I understand why they want one Nigeria. The question is, why do you still want one Nigeria?

One of the most respected and illustrious leader of yorubas has spoken and that's final.
And come to think about it,his assertion is fact. Were these agitators not the ones that was clamouring for change few years ago? Were they not the once that fell from a moving vehicle and died in jubilation? Where they not the ones that travelled from lagos to Abuja by foot to celebrate the victory of change? Why the sudden change of mind and agitation??. God bless Ogbeni Rauf Aregbeshola. He's really a daddy ; grin grin

This Country can never divide.
Governance is bad, we all agree...but to divide, NEVER!
I did not say your country would divide.
All we are saying is Yoruba's are leaving Nijerya.
FG should do it's worst.

When it divides, you can attempt to glue it together with super glue.

I don't blame him, it because of he knows his type would be irrelevant in Yoruba nation.

Even within the larger Nigeria in terms of population and land mass, he's relevant. He might even become a president within the tiny oodua nation. You need to make sense.

There's a mind boggling trend I've observed amongst our 'so-called' leaders that sees them verbalising about how civil war will be the consequence of the most basic of civic agitations amongst certain groups, ethic/political/non-political movements or a generality of the masses.
I've heard this now from several high profile leaders, and it leaves me wondering why these people are so shallow and bereft of ideas.

How can this man not see a path to dialogue, and genuine efforts to identify and solve the issues that divide us, and just good leadership as a means to arrest these myriad of problems we are facing?
Why is Aregbesola thinking this way? Smh

Well, what else can we say?
Aregbeaola, a man who in the name of opening Osun state plunged it into unprecedented debts
A man who just because of selfish interest, came with terrible policies that turned the state into the subject of ridicule amongst other states.
A man who turned all-state secondary and primary schools into one uniform because of his cronnies
A man who built schools but no motivated teachers, no working tools, and others.
A man who in the course of enriching his family members introduced "Opan Imo" at a whopping sum of 4 billion but within just a section, everything became history
A man who paid 100k to the retirees out their entitlement after 35years in service yet never forgot to pay himself and associates all their dues thereby leading to the death of many retirees who can't feed themselves again;
A man who on many occasions awarded some contracts many times under the guise of "O Osun " and fraudulent developmental projects;
A man who never collected a kobo while in government but ensured no kobo was left unpaid of his monthly salaries of 8 years at once;
A man who spent so much on eurodrum but no sign of any project on site;
A man, as a minister who bought 10 fire service machines for 1.8billion while the cost per one is just 57million;
A man who turned mission schools to battle ground because his nefarious and heave forsaking policies;
A man who made sure every civil servants in the state were owed about 24 months without remorse;
A guy who believes nothing will happen and can do as he likes.

Both the rich and the poor will one day face reality after death.

You are entitled to your opinion even though I know you are wrong.

Most people clamouring for one Nigeria are usually emotional attached to the failed country.

It is a fundamental right of a group to determine how they want to live.

That's the right we are exercising.

It is not wrong for us to have our own nation.

What that nation is going to look like and feel like will then be the business of the citizens of that nation.

The only thing the Yorubas have in common with other ethnicities in Nigeria is the dark melanin pigmentation of the African person.

Culturally, socially, we are a very different people.

Our religions and world views are radically different.

The Yorubas will form a YORUBA nation where the Yoruba child will grow up under the principle of Omoluabi.

There's no negotiation for that.

I'd rather we fail as Yorubas in our Yoruba nation than for us Yorubas to fail as Nigerians with other Nigerians.

And if there's one thing I know, a YORUBA nation will prosper and never fail.

There are evidences to this effect.

Here's a couple

1. Yorubas have always lived in city states and they built enviable kingdoms before the era of colonialism.

2. The Western region was a beacon of hope and served as a good example to all of Africa as chief Obafemi Awolowo brought immense development to his people.

Anybody expecting the politicians to support this freedom movement is mad.

It's like expecting the televangelists to support break-up. How would they get the tithe and offerings.
