According to the holy books, power comes from God/Allah and He gives it to whoever He willeth.
As true as adherence of these religious bodies might find these verses of the holy books to be true, they are also consequences or rewards that comes with the way this power is used.
As christains or scholars, we may recall instances in the bible where God Himself annoint some persons to rule as king over His people.
Now, knowing fully the authority(power) that comes with such an office like in our present goveernment. The policy direction of such a kingdom or country depends on such a king.

Therefore, his/her actions can either bring advancement or retrogression to the country.

Remember that the spiritual controls the physical.
In the bible, we were told that whenever the lsraelite sinned against God, He deliver them to their enemies.
When King David sinned against God for example, He broght judgement to his household.
Likewise, in the nations today, when our government act as if there is no God and do abomidable things, God brings judgement or punishment to the land.

Remember what happened in January, 1966, July same year, Ken Sarowiwa, Udi massacre, Shite moslem killings, Benue gencide and many other atrocities committed by the government or with their connivance.
The victims might had cried, place curses on the land and what is happening today could just be a way of God bring justice by way of purnishing the land.
Remember what happened in Egypt, innocent children (first born) where among those the angel destroyed, yet the act was committed by Pharoah the king.

Fellow citizens, it's obvious that nigerian problems has no any known solution at least none for now.
Our leaders (past and present) have done abomidable things, innocent blood is still being shed till today and God is pained and has release His venom on nigeria.

The only solution is God himself. That is if only we acknowledge our evil ways and cried to Him for forgiveness.
He is the golden serpent right now just like the day of old. We must learn to look up to Him for respite.
Everybody, from the govetnment to we the followers cus the land is curse.
Innocent lives are wasted. Only God can heal our land.
