Chelsea forward Fran Kirby has been named the Professional Footballers' Association women's Players' of the Year for the second time.

She was nominated alongside Manchester city trio Hemp, Chloe Kelly Sam Mewis and team mate Sam Kerr and Ann Katrin Berger.

The 27-year-old helped Chelsea to Women's Super League for two consecutive season and League Cup titles this season as well as the final of the Champions League, which they suffered 4 Nil lost to Spanish giant Barcelona women.

Chelsea and England forward Kirby scooped the women’s accolade, having found the net 25 times in all competitions as the Blues retained the Women’s Super League title and won the League Cup and reached champions league final.

Chelsea’s Fran Kirby took home the Women’s Players’ of the Year, with Manchester City and England forward Lauren Hemp taking home the Young Player of the Year prizes.

While Manchester city and Belgium playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has been named the Professional Footballers’ Association’s men’s player of the year for the second successive season.

Meanwhile, Newspremises had previously reported that the Belgium international helped his side Manchester City won the Premier League title, league cup title and reached the Champions League final, making 40 appearances in all competitions and scoring 10 goals.

He team-mate Foden pipped Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood to clinched the premier league young player prize.

The Chelsea star took it In a video message on social media Kirby said: “It's really special, it's an amazing achievement. First and foremost, my team-mates are amazing and I would never have won any of the awards that I have.

While Manchester city Foden said: “I’m really honoured. There have been some great players in the past that have won it and I feel really lucky to win it because there have been so many great young talents this year. It’s a special moment.
